At 12 speed, our journey began when our founder, Logan, started racing triathlon. Logan was selected to race on the Marine Corps triathlon team. He went on to race professionally, on the Ironman pro circuit. After racing for many years, he decided he wanted to work in the bike industry, to share his love of bicycles with others.

Logan opened his first bike shop in 2015, in southern California, focusing on bicycle repair, wheel building, and professional bike fitting. During the pandemic, Logan closed his doors, and worked for one of the largest bike companies in the world, opening two stores for the company. After three years, Logan decided to focus, once again on running a local bike shop.
